Bowtells Bridge to Dunphy’s CG

Postby Kickinghorse » Tue 27 Jul, 2021 9:45 am

Would be interested to know if anyone has recently walked the section following the Cox’s River down to Breakfast Creek and up to Dunphy’s. The pad is marked historically on maps but wonder how overgrown etc it may have become. Seems it could be a pleasant round walk starting on the SFT and finishing in Katoomba.

I did the section from Breakfast Creek to Flaggi Clear last spring and it was all pretty easy going. From memory a few spots where trail was indistinct e.g. crossing sand bars or rock platforms where there are lots of options.

Yeah, it is a pleasant walk, but we did not see any track there. A fair bit of rock hopping along the creek bed though.
Hey, no track: makes it better!

Cheers
