Golden Stairs

Its been ages since Ive headed out to the Blue Mountains ....
I was wondering id the Golden Stairs are open yet?

Yes. They've been open for a few months.
They are no longer on this list - https://www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/vi ... cal-alerts

Photos of the new or restored sections might be nice? Now we are not in lockdown!

The landslip as seen from the track near Dogface/Landslide Gully. The very top of the affected area is where the stairs were closed. The track descends from Narrowneck at the right and traverses under an overhang to the left and stays well clear of the slip for the rest of the descent.

The track at the base was affected and closed by NPWS and a 50m detour is still in place.

And looking up the slope...

This is where the safety works took place. The drop off on the left is directly above the landslip.
