What is considered sufficient purification for water at Uloola Falls campground?

Is a Micropur Forte good enough?

I think it will be fine. Catch some from a flowing spot or off the waterfall.

Have not been there but looking at Google photos and at the topography, the brook comes from bush so the catchment area would be pretty natural.

Treat just in case with micropur or any filter. Enjoy!

Never camped there but visited or walked through dozens of times.
Try and collect water upstream from the falls. Personally I'd probably go above the cascades.
Good sanitary habits of campers at Uloola can't be guaranteed. I've seen used toilet paper lying around etc.
Yes there is a toilet there, so you would wonder why.
I've always considered any water source in RNP to be suspect, others may disagree.
Use your treatment tablets or filter, or boil. Any two of those even better.

I agree with johnw. Have walked through there many times and even though there is a toilet nearby some people are just lazy. Treat the water first.
