Hi All,
Looking to do a hike soon (once Melb restrictions lifted)
Has anyone been on Four Mile Spur, coming off Mt Buller, lately ?
and the track from King Hut up to Craig's Hut, showing overgrown (permanently closed on map)
Have read some older posts about them and they said overgrown but doable,
Thanks Franz

There is a river crossing at King hut to access that disused route. The river could be too tricky to cross what with this being a wet spring and all. Have a plan B handy.

I have not walked that route. We were looking at doing it a couple of years ago as part of a Mt. Cobbler/ Mt. Stirling trek , but ended up just driving back up to the Circuit road from King Hut and I saw where it pops out. We looked at where it starts which is a bit up river from King Hut. If you take your car down there be aware that the road can be quite muddy with deep puddles with trees falling on the track. I would recommend a 4 x 4 vehicle and taking a chainsaw and chainsaw safety gear etc..
