Well, you've photographed it, I think ! If you draw a vertical line from the centre of your tent to the horizon, then go left, the first tree is pretty much the camp spot. It's south of the junction, roughly 1670m contour.

You'll find it easily (unless the wx is like your pictures above) - not many trees to choose from :)
