Water at Camp Creek?

Postby contactdom » Thu 17 Feb, 2022 8:30 pm

Hi everyone, first time post for me. Thanks for all the valuable advice you all share, I’ve been lurking for a while :)

I’m wondering if anyone has recent advice on water at Camp Creek, just past Mt Speculation? Apparently there is a pipe there, I’m just wondering if it’s running?

Any intel appreciated!

Welcome to the forum firslt. Camp creek is one of the most reliable water sources in the mountains. Not seen a pipe there but it flows over some rocks. It will be easy to find just beside the road. With the wet summer we have had I am sure you will not find it a problem getting water. It flows in dry summers.

FYI, the pipe referred to, presumably, is the cement pipe that runs under the road.

Water can be collected from either the uphill or downhill side but the pipe is (more) visible on the downhill side.
