Got as far as Barron Pass Wednesday (28 Aug). A beautiful blue sky day. Frenchmans Cap was well and truly snow-capped. I spoke to a party of two who had tried to summit that morning and found chest deep snow on their ascent too hard to grapple with and abandoned the attempt.

No pretty easy, mostly firm. Good fun bumsliding down

Excellent shots SBS - my jealousy knows no bounds. We ran out of time - too old and slow
No doubt we'll have another go at it but need to contact Essendon's high performance unit to get some advice about appropriate supplements.
