You might find this an odd combination (I do) but our intentions of doing Walled and Macs and then perhaps Byron got weathered out and reduced into only sleeping the night on Walled. On the final day, when the sun did finally shine and views were at last possible, we had to catch the 1pm ferry as they were not putting on a 4pm service, so we didn't even have time for Byron (from Pine Valley).
On the way home I decided that a compensation was that we could at least dash up Sandbanks Tier so the mountain tally could double.

I have been amazed by your speed over the mountains. I have looked longingly at your reports on the route around Mt Blanc.
And the pictures you have up on this trip have some real stunners.

Yes, nice report and glad you gained some peaks. There is no worse feeling than having to cancel a long planned walk you have been looking forward to, especially if you have injured yourself at the beginning of the trip.
