Here's a video from my trip to Tasmania over the weekend. And what a beauty it was. Bruce Love and I did some hard bushwalking and fishing in remote mountain lakes on the Central Plateau. We fished Lake Meston and Junction Lake both rainbow only trout waters and stayed in a rustic hut as well as doing some camping along the lake's edge.

Thanks for sharing it was very entertaining.....well maybe not the bathing part ;)

I know the area reasonably well, I may take a fishing rod next time.

The raft he used was the Cross Flyte but they now have a lighter model called the Flyte Packer. These really open up the lakes for a fisherman.

A fun video to watch. Not quite my cup of tea as I seek out small streams but do get a great feeling for the adventure.I think you're a bit negative on flyfishing and might give the non believer the wrong idea but assume it is all very much tongue in cheek.
