Great to get such positive feedback, it encourages me to keep going! Yes the views are stunning, Baker's Beach to Cradle and Black Bluff.
The Skyline track will have mountain bike trails before too long. Hopefully they will be below the crest and do not ruin the experience for walkers. If well routed signposted and designed, as at Warrawee, there should be room for all of us.

The section of track between Morgan Rd and Jarmans Rd has been renamed Morgan Skyline Track. It has a new signposted access track that runs through the bush, avoiding the exposed gravel zig zag road to the communication facility. The Ladder at the Morgan Skyline Track has been updated. It now has a higher suspension point which facilitate easier entry/exit at the top and entry/exit at the bottom of the ladder has also been improved. Trip hazards have been eliminated and there are more hand holds at the top. The wire ropes are now 6mm SS single strand from top to bottom and an heavy duty tensioning system has been used, which together with a braceing tread in the middle has greatly improved stability. The ramp is no longer in use. We are working on a new track that will be named Badgers Ridge Line Track which will be a 10.5km track that runs all the way from Morgan Rd to Badgers Rd, once we complete the link between the Northern and Southern Ridgelines. That track will then include parts of the Morgan Skyline track, the Jarmans Skyline track, Kimberley's lookout track and Maraea's lookout track and will have about 20 lookouts along the way.

Very sad to find out that our friend, Bill Shepherd, passed away on the Badgers Ridgeline track, Friday 20th November 2020. On top of the Morgan Skyline, 2.1km way from Morgan Rd on his way to Badgers Rd. May his soul rest in peace. Condolences to his wife, family, friends and all those who knew him. A tireless worker, who has done so much for us, he will be sorely missed by the Bushwalking community.
