Hi JTW
Just pick a sheltered spot somewhere well off the old road near a creek,
Its all open country, just walk and look.
Lovely spots off the back of Kossie looking over Geehi too.
Take care with the weather forcast, it can still get extreme in summer.

You are not supposed to camp within view of the road for some reason but like John said if you head over a hill off the road there are plenty of good spots. If you prefer to walk off the road then you can follow the Rams Head range south from Charlotte and pick up the road later. Lots of little streams and flat spots along there. I have also camped on the southern side of Koszy and again like John said the views are great.
