off track bushwalks - question

Postby cap_jack » Sat 14 Jul, 2012 10:27 am

We are new here, but not new to walking in the bush. In fact during the last 25 years we have covered most of Northern NSW on and off track, at one time helping NSWP to document historical sites.

Our question, Is it OK to post details of our wilderness walks in what we consider non-sensitive areas without recognised tracks.

Non-sensitive meaning open eucalyptus forests in Parks or State Forests areas. Many of which, in years gone by, were cattle ranches like Guy Fawkes, the Mann River, Timbarra.

thanks,

Yes, that's fine so long as the area is not likely to be ruined by increased visitors.

Bondi's already ruined. More Kiwis couldn't make it any worse.
