Has any read Wild by Cheryl Strayed about walking the PCT. An excellent read, highly recommend it.

Yes, but there were some aspects that I found a bit hard to really believe. Such as carrying a pack that she could hardly lift up and a fit young fella struggled to lift. Also walking for days with lots of blisters. I wonder if there wasn't a bit of exaggeration, given that something like 10 years had elapsed before she wrote it.

Also got sick of reading some of the non walk bits. Didn't much like the chapters where she skipped off with some bloke she met at a pub.

However in general I enjoyed the book.

I've read it too and it is inspiring and interesting but I agree with Peter about some of it being completely believable.
