I've been going up there for years, but nary a cushion plant. Lots of pineapple grass and alpine heath etc, but no cushions!
Has anyone seen one?

Also spent many hours on Mt Wellington plateau and seen cushion plants. Mainly on the southern parts of the plateau in areas well west of the Rocking Stone. The south-west corner of the mountain is well worth a visit.
