Looking for a Wild back issue

Postby Happy Pirate » Thu 17 Jan, 2019 5:18 pm

Hey guys
Back in the dark ages I had a cover shot for Wild magazine and I'm trying to buy another copy of the magazine. My magazine archive and old photography folio has been damaged or lost.
I'm wondering if anyone here with an extensive archive could tell me the issue number and date. I can then contact Wild to see if they have a copy. If you want to sell me one that would work too.
The shot was taken in 1994 but probably not submitted until I stopped travelling in 1995 so I expect it would be a '95 or '96 issue. That's all I have except the photo, taken at Kintore Cave Reserve in NT:

Any help much appreciated.
Cheers, Steve

Thanks so much mate. I had no idea I sat on that image for so long.

That was my GF. We were travelling Aus and stopped in Darwin to work. We joined the caving club and were helping survey new caves in the Kintore Caves Reserve when that was taken.

It is available now along with recent and historical editions of Wild Magazine including rarer 4-10: https://adventure-shop.com.au/collections/wild-mag-shop

I just picked up a few old editions for some reading during this time.

Just saw this - are you still after the issue? I've actually got it (for some reason I had dupe of a lot of copies) so it's your for the price of postage. PM me if still keen.

I have Australian Wild magzine issues 1-67. Is anyone interested in buying them all? I'd rather not sell them individually. They are in pristine condition in plastic sleeves.
