The Search and Rescue helicopter just flew over our house. Stay tuned to the media for some kind of action.... My guess will be the western Arthurs as our house is under a direct line of that flight path.

Hopefully the warm evening that we had here in Launceston extended down there. Age suggests maybe a medical issue might have occurred so hopefully it is not and turns out to be just is a wrong turn.
Cheers Brett

You must be psychic Oll! I didn't imagine it could be there either, but thinking about it, it could happen very easily if the man has Alzheimer's. My mum lost my dad at a local fair recently - he'd gone the wrong way to find the car and was totally confused. She only found him because they carry small UHF radios all the time.
Hopefully this man is OK.

Thanks for the update Phil. I was hoping to start the Mars bar routine, and hope I still can, but it does look very serious now. We tend to take it for granted the bush and forget that a simple slip can have dramatic consequences.
