Waterproof shell fabric

Postby Huntsman247 » Sat 20 Apr, 2024 10:12 am

I want to make a waterproof shell for some down booties. I want to be able to wear them over the top of my booties and walk around camp without getting the down wet from dewy grass ect.
What fabric would you guys recommend?
I'm leaning towards sturdier rather than ultralight. Tyvek crossed my mind but are there better slightly lighter options?

Thanks in advance for your advice.
