G'day
looking for the lightest and cheapest model POLY fleece I can get from either Spotlight or Lincraft to make a protoype.
Patterns, colours don't matter.
I need a link please to the model.
Only those two shops as I can still get into both at the minute.
I look at the bewildering array of stuff on their websites and it appears they don't have anything. Or what they call fleece I wouldn't etc.
Am looking for something absolutely max of 200-250 gms/m or 200wt
Not after an off-cut given the times and all.

If it's for a prototype just get the cheapest you can. Some of the current Spotlight fleece is pretty good, some isn't. I think that you need to personal shop and feel it in the hand.
Cecile and I haven't been in there for a while but sales have been slow so there should be plenty of stock and a good choice.
What's the project?

Very cheap, probably because the colours are terrible for ordinary people, but not for me.


Quality must be good as for me it has survived years of use and abuse. It streteches easily and returns to shape and is really warm for skiing and bushwalking while active. Moisture migrates outwards to form condensate & ice on the outside, but it stays warm and dries quickly. Tim

Ta Tim. I did look there a while back. Looks very good but... I just received a batch of Polartech and have a hoody, T-shirt, vest and beanie on the go with it.
Maybe even some jocks if I have some left over.
I'm going to use every blooody scrap!

Scraps are good, double up in the crutch for extra penile protection.
It is possible to suffer damage in that area even in our mild temperatures.

Are you going to save a little scrap for me to test its silicone glueing properties? Just imagine....the first ever glued Polartech jocks! That would be a first.

Moondog55, I thought you were up skiing at PV. Are you still connected up there? I only wear woollen thermals and compression tights ( as in photo above) and have never felt the need for extra thermal protection down there (in Australia).
