Osprey Levity frame removal query

Postby Bill P » Wed 15 Jun, 2022 9:06 pm

Just wondering if anyone has removed the frame from an Osprey Levity pack? And could provide any tips on how to do so, as I would like to seal the interior seams. I've done this on an Exos with excellent results. The Levity frame seems to be installed from the inside, whereas the Exos is fitted from the outside. Same same but different.

OK I have worked this out now.

1. Remove the horizontal fibreglass spacer bar
2. Open the inside zip at the top of the bag
3. Wrangle one corner of the steel wire frame out through the zip
4. Bingo!

:D

Ha Ha Greg, I'll tell you in a couple of days when the silicone cures. The lid pocket is easy enough to seal without doing anything drastic. Like pulling apart a brand new bag....
