Rain tank at Black Range Camp

I'm walking the six foot track from Jenolan to Katoomba and would appreciate any recent news regarding the water level in the Black Range Camp rain tank. Given it has been dry I'm considering taking additional water to get me to Alum Creek if Black Range Rain Tank is empty. Thanks for the intel.
