Bullocks Flat east along the Thredbo River

Postby LeftRightShoot » Mon 07 Aug, 2017 3:08 pm

Gday,

Wondering if anyone has walked from Bullocks Flat east along the Thredbo river to Kosciuzko Road. Are there any footpads along there? Hows the walk speed/ground cover?

Any tips appreciated.

Chris.

Hi Chris
Its a wilderness fishermans haunt, easy at beginning and end, a gorge in the middle,
I have planned but not walked it, the banks will be thick with scrub at times, so good to go in late summer when the water is low and warm
and the wading is comfortable.
There is a 4wd track down from a farm on the east side about halfway.
Probaly snakey too.
