Patagonia Duck bill Trucky's hat.
Running/Runners hat.
A Summer of use and worthy of consideration. Of course in summer you will need an ultralight hoody.
Will by my cold weather hat too, as in the photo with fleece beanie over the top.
My perfect hat is found.
A bit of distraction amidst the gloom-just look at my ensemble. My red shorts were cropped out lest there be retina burn
Two thumbs and big toes up.

There doesn't seem to be anywhere in AU selling the frogg toggs? Did you get them locally Lamont?

G'day Craig. Someone gave me new one (I paid them $15) about four years ago. Can't remember where they got it, sorry.
I don't know if I'd replace it now for what that's worth to you.
The seams split (2-3mm) in two places behind the shoulders the first couple of times I wore it, but have held with tape for three years with plenty of use.
Breathability is nil-all twaddle.
They require a peaked cap to work at all. Hood is a dud without one.
I also put small velcro tabs on the storm flap every 20 cms or so-rotten thing kept blowing open.
Also just mended some stitches to the bottom of the zip as some had given up.
If you are down my way you could chuck it on if you want. Cuppa and a bikkie included. :D
Cheers.

Looks like you can only get them from Amazon AU or eBay. Sounds like they last reasonably well given the price.

This jacket's regularly recommended on facebook, not that that means much. I'm only doing short trips so I'm never walking beyond the forecast and I thought this might be a good lightweight solution for unexpected rain. I already have a 'sacrificial' jacket for off track so the durability is not the biggest concern and I use a non breathing jacket for work and it's the best I've had in that context. Of course work and carrying a pack are different things.
