Yes - we had done the tourist run on the boat on a day when the driver thought it might break up in the large waves.
So this is next to the boat ramp at Narcissus.

Thanks Eggs. It's one of my favourite mountains so no mistaking it.

To carry on from the theme I'd say you are on the Gould Plateau Graham (Cuvier & Manfred beyond)...
Wed 07 Mar, 2012 2:19 pm
Close. The background mountains are as you say but not on Gould Plateau.
Wed 07 Mar, 2012 3:12 pm
Have to be the Guardians then...was going to be my 'or' guess...
Wed 07 Mar, 2012 3:25 pm
That's about it. We camped on the saddle between Minotaur and The Guardians and this is from there.

Mt Gould is also one of my favourite mountains...
Next (easy) one...
Wed 07 Mar, 2012 4:15 pm
If you are sure of this (very easy) location please feel free to go next...i'm off for a climb now
Wed 07 Mar, 2012 5:27 pm
Those peaks do look familiar.
Wed 07 Mar, 2012 7:28 pm
Take a look at the last two photos.

Mt Byron, Mt Cuvier, Mty Manfred from Gould Plateau (or perhaps Mt Gould but I don't think there is enough downward angle for that.)
Wed 07 Mar, 2012 10:11 pm
I think it's your turn Graham

Eliza?

That's right Doogs. Just below the summit. Sorry about the delay, we went out for dinner. Also I was beginning to wonder if anyone else was playing.

Has been very quite on the game. Here's one for the peakbaggers out there.
Fri 09 Mar, 2012 10:16 am
Pretty sure it's the north east of the state & also pretty sure I have been here...I'll guess Mt Henry?
Fri 09 Mar, 2012 11:22 am
Not Henry but very close
Fri 09 Mar, 2012 1:44 pm
...maybe Black Boy or Spion Kopp...they all blend in & can't remember one from the other after a couple of years....pretty sure it's not St John tho, which had a trig...??? (as did Henry from memory)...

Heading the wrong way!!

That it be

An exercise in forestry road navigation and that's about all you can say about the ascent of Mt Morrison
Fri 09 Mar, 2012 3:03 pm
Ascent..all 2 metres of it & a less than 100 metre stroll from the car (which is still in view from the summit)...still, easy peak bagging point
I'll hand it over to anyone else as i have a late rush at work...

How on earth do you remember all this Eggs...
Ok to keep it moving, here's one.

its been a lean few months for me bushwalking wise

if I were to post a recent one would be more of a "which play park are my kids in"! I hope to have a few fresh peaks and photos under my belt within a fortnight

So much for keeping the game moving. How many days is it since this picture was posted? Perhaps a clue would be in order.
Tue 13 Mar, 2012 6:58 pm
Clue, sure....
It's in the Park, and you've been up this one Graham!
Tue 13 Mar, 2012 7:15 pm
Welllll. that's more like it , come around then?

, you somewhere near Thetis?
Tue 13 Mar, 2012 7:34 pm
I suppose I should have known that with pines in the foreground and dolerite cap that that was likely the case but I still find it difficult. It couyld be something less significant like Mt Eros but perhaps it's Mt Hyperion from somewhere near Lake Helios. Then again it might be Mt Achilles from near Leonards Tarn.
Is it fair to keep going till I've mentioned all of the mountains in CM-LSC Park?
Also, I didn't realise people were out there keeping track of my meagre exploits in thius area.
