Perfect (early) Spring day

I have been a bit brain dead and missed September's Photo comp so I thought I might as well put some images up here.

Great work Gayet, that first one in particular is stunning! Looks like you had magnificent conditions to shoot in.

The conditions were perfect. Not particularly pleasant Friday, cold, snow, wind etc, but Saturday morning was calm, clear and brilliant. And it remained that way most of the day.
Shortly after the first one I was ambushed by some ice and attacked by a lichen speckled boulder on the way down. My nose took a beating on the boulder and my hip on the iced over gravel. It slowed me up a bit and may explain some slightly off line horizons

Weather closed in again Sunday morning.

Many thanks for the comments.

Beautiful images, the first ones a cracker, could do with a little tweaking in photoshop to bring up the contrast and colour but lovely anyway. You would be surprised at how much colour in that sky, it's a tad over exposed and that will always wash colour out of the image. :)
