Cathedral Range access

Postby Earwig » Tue 26 Nov, 2013 9:31 am

Major bridge repairs to the Cooks Mill road bridge will be undertaken from Monday the 2nd of December until December 13th inclusive, There will be no road access to Cooks Mill camping area from the north during this time. Road access will only be available from the southern entrance via the following route: Marysville-Buxton Rd - Mount Margaret Rd - Cerberus Rd - Sugarloaf Saddle - Jawbones Carpark - Cooks Mill.

Little River Walking Track will remain open providing walking access between Cooks Mill and Neds Gully so a loop walk is still possible starting from Neds.

The logging of the private pine block adjoining Cooks Mill will recommence in early January. During this time Little River Walking Track will remain closed and Little River Rd and Cooks Mill will be used for access by logging trucks.

- thanks to my ranger friend for the info
