Congratulations eggs, great photo, you got my vote.
Though I do like that red rock too!

Thanks Tasadam
That one was a bit tricky as I was holding the camera out at arms length over the void to get that view.
I thought all the waterfall shots were good.
Curiously, the red rock was also at a waterfall site - must be winter.

Well done eggs

. I like the vertiginous angle of the shot, worth the effort to get it. I had to look up where Morialta Gorge is, looks like a nice place to visit.

I've been to Belmore Falls/Hindmarsh lookout. From memory the falls normally flow year round and we've had reasonable rain recently. I'm guessing that Ian chose to focus on the red rock rather than the falls due to the intense colour/contrast with foliage. Edit: Thinking that through further I don't recall whether you can actually see the falls from Hindmarsh Lookout, as it's someway distant from them and overlooks the parts of Kangaroo Valley region.

Thanks John
Morialta is a common walk several of us do to keep in training for Tasmania - along with a number of other close handy spots in the Adelaide Hills.
It has been very dry till recently (ie absolutely no water) - and the winter rains have freshened/greened it up and got the creek flowing nicely.
The Adelaide Hills are not overly spectacular - but they are very close in to the city and give one of the best views over a capital city in the country.
I would only put Mt Wellington views higher.
