How Gullible Are Gear Freaks?

I love an outdoor catalogue as much as most. But some of my walking mates take it to a whole other level. The words begin to mesmerize them, their eyes glaze over and they seem to be in the grip of some strange power.

I on the other hand ... well how would you finish that sentence??
