Senbon Tori?
.....post the next picture of a location somewhere in an A natural landscape (eg in a National Park) somewhere out of Australia..
I'm not having a go at Wayno but do photos have to be of a natural landscape. I have a few photos I could use for this game but they are not in National Parks etc.

I read that as -
a location somewhere in an A natural landscape and
for example in a national park - the NP qualification is not mandatory. Many natural areas where I bushwalk or visit here are not in NPs, and similar experience overseas. I think significant features integral to a hiking trail etc are OK based on my interpretation of the above. I haven't visited Japan but found this site which suggests to me that this one complies based on the guidelines:
Senbon Torii"While the primary reason most foreign visitors come to Fushimi Inari Shrine is to explore the mountain trails, the shrine buildings themselves are also attractive and worth a visit."
"At the very back of the shrine's main grounds is the entrance to the torii gate covered hiking trail, which starts with two dense, parallel rows of gates called Senbon Torii ("thousands of torii gates")"I'm guessing the photos you have are likely also OK (based on my interpretation).

it walks through a park in thick forest, you wouldnt have a clue where it is if i posted a photo of the forest, this is a photo that gives a chance of recognising what is a well known attraction. i've got heaps of photos in parks where you wouldnt have a clue where they were if I posted them, i tend to spend my time in areas few if any aussies would recognise, the idea is to make the area identifiable..

Thanks wayno (and johnw for your interpretation of the rules. As I mentioned I was not criticising wayno - just trying to clarify the rules for my own future photo posts.

I"m pretty sure i havent been to that one. but it has similartities with other ones... whatever its name is it will probably be difficult to remembe and pronounce because i cant remember the names of most of the ones I've seen

For an Aussie it's a bit hard to pronounce. A Kiwi shouldn't have any problems.

There's a good chance you might have been here. Very close to a road and from memory about 100m from the car park.

Yes this is Tenaya Lake. It's the starting point of the walk to Clouds Rest.
Your turn, Champ.
