If you are a beginner, this is a handy little E-book:

Interesting track marker array they have over there.
I much prefer the reflective triangles used here in Tassie.
Also, that mud photo - looks a lot like Tassie. I wonder if it is - that could be buttongrass, and if it is, it's Tassie.
The mud certainly looks familiar!

I thought that looked a bit Tasmanian...

Most of the other photos are definitely Victoria - Vallejo Gantner and Howitt Huts, Speculation, Grampians, Bogongs, Baw Baw Plateau, Wonnongatta Moroka, The Prom . . . but I can't place the mud. Can't think of anywhere up here in that sort of country that has the conditions and usage to create that sort of bog.

Yeah, the track markers are a real mixed bag. The old yellow diamonds for the AAWT were great, and the newer yellow triangles aren't bad, but those blue things that the Dubbers and ACTors first insisted upon when they finally got involved with the track are a pain. Fortunately there aren't that many left. But there's an awful lot of marker tape scattered around the place.
