This was on the way to Mt Fortescue! My Wife said she could see by my stance how scared I was.
Mainly just I had a 10 second delay on the camera and had to get into position and try to look comfortable in that time!
Was a great day!

The sea looks pretty calm.
I thought the most scary place I had been to was just down the other track, looking over the edge into the void down to the totem pole - with the sea surging through the gap.
It felt like it was trying to suck you over the edge.
But you definitely have a lot more height in that spot!!

Yeh some fantastic coastal cliff walking around there huh!
It was very calm along that section! Wind was from the NE so that little pocket was quite protected!
Considering it was 2 days after the hurricane force winds we had.... Every 10metres or so I had to scramble over, under ,around or through a fallen tree

Sea looks calm, but you look a little rigid. It would take me more than 10secs to get there.
Haven't done any serious walks on TP yet, this summer for sure.

It is very exciting territory in that part of the state. I've still got a few scars from a few adventures that were at the edge of my skill set of the time.
This pic was taken around 1970:

- An early, failed, attempt on the Monument.
We got there eventually, but not on that trip.
