Here's a beautiful photo taken from a helicopter above the Dart River west of Mt Earnslaw: https://www.flickr.com/photos/justenoug ... 050565329/

Thanks WFBW,

I was up there a couple of years ago, a stunning area.

Something a bit different, this next photo was taken while walking around a Inuit Village in Greenland, name the village, the only hint will be if you can pronounce the name you will get extra points.

Time for a clue, the village is on the East Coast of Greenland (there are not a lot of villages on the East Coast)

Ittoqqortoormiit looks fairly impossible for English=speaking people to pronounce.

Hi Graham51,

Right state but this is further south. It has a well known name and is owned/managed by the native americans.

Eagle Rock, Pacific Crest Trail

That would be it.

Thanks norts, got me wondering how many "Eagle Rock" formations exist around the world. This one looks quite different from the Eagle Rock on the Coast track in Sydney's Royal NP near me. But they both resemble eagles. Coincidental that you posted this while I was considering watching the recently released "Wild" movie tonight on Foxtel about Cheryl Strayed's PCT adventure.

Staying in the USA, in what locality did I encounter this "moose on the loose":

That will do it eggs, Teton Range in the background. The Grand Teton itself is out of view. I went for a long wander around and beyond the expansive Spring Creek Ranch where we stayed at Jackson Hole below the Tetons, and found this young moose on the way back.

Well investigated Hallu, Undine Falls is correct :). Like a number of features in Yellowstone you barely need to leave your car to see these. Your turn to post a photo.

OK since I do trip reports on almost everything I do, here's a recent one I haven't posted yet. It's in France, and as a hint, I have a big refuge behind me when taking this picture with people getting ready to do some glacier walking. The refuge is quite well known, and is in a National Park.

On the Pyrenees National Park Trek near Refuge Bayssellance?

Re: Game: Where-is-it? (international)

Thu 25 Jun, 2015 11:18 pm

Nope, it's in the Alps, and it's not part of a long trek, the refuge is the end of the track, after that it's glacier walking and mountaineering (or alpinism ? I don't know what term the Aussies use).

Yeah that's correct, Les Bans is the tall mountains on the right (3600+ m), it's a gorgeous place, have you been there ? Your turn.
