Parks Victoria have a lot of information about The Prom and other places. In this glut of data I cannot find any reference to party size. Can someone please advise me what the maximum party size is for overnight and day walks at The Prom? Also, do other Australian NPs have party size limits, and if so, what are they? My impression was that overnight walks are about 8 and that day walks are a bit more.

According to this:
https://parkweb.vic.gov.au/__data/asset ... -Hikes.pdfThe maximum single group size at any hiking campsite in the southern part of the prom is 12, and in the northern parts it is 6.
Travis.

Unless it is a school group with a declared ratio of teachers to students, and a specific exemption from Parks Victoria, it can be more than 12.
I encountered one such large and straggling group a couple of years ago near Little Waterloo Bay, counting around 16 before I lost count, with more dawdling along.

The parks info sheet is quite specific. I think you might mean this the other way around?
