Bringing the the game photo onto the current page.
What North American valley am I in?
P1030112 resized.JPG
Sunwapta Valley from near the Glacier Skywalk, Jasper NP, Alberta Canada

Previous clues:
I'm heading to a spectacular, vertigo inducing, man-made view point about 5 minutes walk behind me.
A well known glacier and major ice field are nearby.
To narrow it down a bit, I'm in Canada.

New clue - I'm in the province of Alberta.

I was looking for the name of the valley but I'll pay that norts.
The Glacier Skywalk (Columbia Icefield) is a few minutes walk behind me; worth visiting but full of tourists.
This is the Sunwapta Valley. Over to you.

I walked about 5 km down the valley in the background to get here and there is a well known glacier behind me.

This lake, the glacier behind it, the valley, the access track and a river I crossed to get here all have the same name.

Sorry Last, I totally forgot about this photo. Unfortunately there seems to be minimal people playing these days.
Not Fox but it is south island. I've posted other shots from the area but don't want to throw you a curve ball.

Yes, it does seem to have slowed down a bit. Plenty of views but not many willing to guess. Hooker, after your clue?

I'm glad my cryptic humour worked. Yes, Hooker Lake it is. I crossed the Hooker River on the way down the Hooker Valley to visit the Hooker Glacier and Hooker Lake, but no one took the bait on that clue
I think people may be unwilling to guess if they don't have a photo to post. But, as another member has done a few times, they could post an image from the internet of a favourite location.
Over to you Last.

Thanks Last, I directed my research to that area and fluked a photo of it.

North America, I was getting dizzy from climbing all these switchbacks:
