I guesstimate you're on or near Spencers Peak with Jackys Lookout in the mid ground and Jugungal in the distance

Sure is Tyreless. The Lagoon downstream on private property is nice but I'm so glad we can still visit this special place.

I'm guessing you're in the Budawangs, of which I've only limited exposure. Mt Tarn?

One of the frustrating parts of playing this game is seeing a photo and knowing you have been there but can't remember where it is.

Pretty sure you are walking back to Mount Banks from somewhere near Frank Hurley Head (what a view from Frank Hurley!)

All of those are within 10km of this site but none are correct.

Western side of Mt Hay? Like crollsurf said, very frustrating because I am sure I recognise this scene but can't recall location.

Oh dear - I got myself mixed up!

johnw was correct - it's on the Butterbox Track before you reach the descent. My apologies for the confusion.

All yours, johnw.

No problem at all Tyreless. I'd like a dollar for every time I got mixed up (my wife will agree) :).

I'll virtually revisit QLD again since they won't let me go there at present:
