Up until recently these were the rules by which we were playing the Where is It (International) game. I used to think it was a bit of fun and quite enjoyable.

It's gotta be Victoria Falls, which is indeed in Africa.

The landscape looks familiar but I haven't visited this exact spot. Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone?

Hmmm... there seems to be a decoy here roca-amarilla is in Utah, looks more like the Movie Set from Clint Eastwood's Pale Rider
which was in Idaho

Yes johnw, you've got it right. It's the Grand Canyon just downstream of Yellowstone Falls.

Ah yes ... don't ever take my filenames too seriously. But "roca amarilla" is literally "yellow stone".

I rarely look at file names, but on this occasion it would have confirmed my thinking.
Let's stay on the North American continent:

Thanks John, I've never been there but it's on my to do list, in fact I wish I was there right now instead of here in Canberra at 32°C. And because I'm away from home I don't have access to my pictures so will someone else take a turn please?

Thanks Wayno. I lived in Wellington for a few years, so the Tararuas were my main stomping ground.

This one is also in NZ:

The OP does indeed want to be picky, but not because of spelling. Feel free to spell Nuarrahojeie however you wish :)

The east flank of Mt Ngauruhoe is visible in the left background of the photo. But the main feature of the photo, in front of Ngauruhoe, is Red Crater. So commando has it correct.
