This river is a fraction of the size of the Mighty Murray, it also is not a cross-state river.

Not near mount beauty.
The West Kiewa is good paddling, but the water in this river does not flow into NSW.

I was not on the Yarra, though this river is also dammed for Melbourne's drinking water!

Thanks icefest, I visited there on a bikepacking trip to Lakes Entrance after hot ride along Cowwarr Road from Rawson then joined the rail trail to Stratford. Next Victoria. What track was I on...

This mountain lays at the most Southern boundary of this popular NSW national Park. Back in the day one could drive stock past it.
