It's not the main island but geographically quite close to it.

The name might suggest some mooing going on but I didn't see a lot of cows, oui?

It is but what's it called. I'll accept either its popular name or it's actual name.

It's popular name derives from its playful residents.

Swayambhunath Stupa or Monkey Temple.

I give it to icefest because he clearly knows which temple it is (and because I'm about to head off for 19 days on Scotland's Cape Wrath Trail - which incidentally has no trail or fixed route, you basically link together a bunch of mountain passes to get from Fort William to the northwest corner of Scotland by a route of your choice).

Yep, Lets go Icefest.

Damn it! Was hoping to avoid having to find a photo.

This one is in the pacific islands.

I'll give it to you if you can name the island, bonus if you name the river!

I'm running out of photos, I was hoping someone else would jump in.
This location has featured a couple of times previously.
I believe it will be the Navua River/Canyon on Viti Levu, Fiji.

Not quite, although I have posted from elsewhere in Fiji. The other Navua R shots were courtesy of the ubiquitous eggs.

Somewhere a bit cooler. Canada:

These didn't exist when we drove through the area on my one visit to Scotland in the 90s.
By pure coincidence we've been watching the latest series of Michael Portillo's railway journeys on SBS.
These were featured in the episode we watched last week, including a video interview with their sculptor, Andy Scott.
They are "The Kelpies" near Falkirk, not too far from Edinburgh. Mythological shape shifting water creatures that are part of Scots folklore.
