Please be advised that Swifts Creek Road is currently closed due to flooding. To access Swifts Creek campground please use Picnic Point Road and follow Narrows Road into Murray Valley National Park - Moira.

Safety alerts: Roads closed due to flooding in Murray Valley NP/RP
Please be advised that many roads within Millewa, Moira & Gulpa Island are still currently closed due to receding flood water or damage. These include:

• Sections of Edward River Road
• Dudley's Road
• Clay Island Road
• Tin Hut Road
• Quambies Road
• Little Edwards Road
• Glenns Road
• Sams Road
• Plantation Road
• Duffer Road
• Swifts Creek Road (alternate route via Porters Creek Road or Narrows Road)
• Algabohnyah (Algeboia) Road

The following roads have now been RE-OPENED:

• Aratula Lane/River Road
• Fishermans Bend Road
• Toupna Crossing Road (access around Murphys Bridge)

Closed areas: temporary closure of 7 campgrounds - Murray Valley National Park Whymoul precinct
The following campgrounds in Murray Valley National Park Whymoul precinct are closed to allow tree safety work to be completed: 
Pembengguk-Children campground
Wulma-Old campground
Doodledoo campground
Three Whistlers campground
Chickowee campground
Pandalang-Whistling Kite campground
Trappers campground

Fire bans: NSW NPWS Riverina Area - Solid Fuel Fire Ban (SFFB) Commences
A park fire ban is in place in this park and remains in effect unless otherwise extended or removed. During park fire ban periods, all campfire and solid fuel (wood, heat beads, charcoal, briquettes, hexamine) barbecues and stoves are prohibited. Gas and electric barbecues and cookers are permitted as long as:

• They're under direct control of an adult
• The ground within 2m of the barbecue is cleared of all flammable materials
• There's an adequate supply of water (minimum of a bucket)

Safety alerts: Bridge Closed - Millewa River Road
Millewa River Road is CLOSED from the entrance at Millewa Road intersection to Clay Island Road intersection due to "Black & White" Bridge being unsafe for vehicles.
Please follow signage as penalties do apply.

Closed areas: Murray Valley National Park - Moira South Campgrounds CLOSED
Some Moira South campgrounds in the Murray Valley National Park have been closed to camping. Areas closed have been sign-posted. Alternative campgrounds are available nearby.
