Safety alerts: Visitor Advisory - Road Access to Crowdy Bay National Park CampgroundsDue to ongoing wet weather, road access to Crowdy Bay National Park has significantly deteriorated. Although a grader is on standby, the persistent rain over recent months has prevented essential maintenance works from being carried out.
Recommended Access Route:
For visitors with low-clearance vehicles or those towing caravans, the most suitable access to
Diamond Head,
Indian Head, and
Kylies Beach campgrounds is via
Diamond Head Road from the north, through
Laurieton. To reach Laurieton, take the
Kew exit from the Pacific Highway.
Avoid Moorland Exit for Caravans:
Access via the
Moorland exit is generally more difficult for vehicles towing caravans due to narrow and rougher road conditions.
