The remainder of the trail is unpaved and can be jagged and loose underfoot, so please take care. From this point, you may be able to spot black-footed rock wallabies as they shelter on ledges along the southern cliff face, waiting for the evening before coming out to feed. You must stay on the trail on the northern side of the gorge so that you do not disturb these animals.
