This walk starts at Silver Mist Park and follows a section of the Prince Henry Cliff Walk. The walk visits Tallawalla Lookout, with great views up the valley, and Honeymoon Lookout. An optional side trip, taking in more views from Banksia Lookout, is great if you are still feeling energetic. Either organise someone to pick you up at Honeymoon Point, or head back to your car along Cliff Drive. Let us begin by acknowledging the Dharug & Gundungurra people, Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Getting started
From lower end of Silver Mist Picnic area, this walk follows the initially faint track down the hill through the open forest. The track soon leads to an intersection on the Prince Henry Cliff Walk at 'Tallawarra Lookout'.....

After 80 m pass the picnic table (8 m on your right).
After another 45 m turn left, to head along Prince Henry Cliff Walk.
After another 25 m find the "Tallawarra Lookout" (20 m on your right).

Tallawarra Lookout is a small, fenced lookout near Silver Mist Picnic Area, along Prince Henry Cliff walk. The lookout provides an excellent view of Sublime Point and Kings Tableland. Leura Falls and Gordon Creek both flow through the valley below. There are a few bench seats just near the lookout. (Note: the lookout is marked as 'Tallawalla Lookout' on some maps.)

Then pass a seat (5 m on your right).
After another 30 m turn left, to head along Prince Henry Cliff Walk.
After another 20 m find the "Millamurra Lookout" (8 m on your right).

Millamurra Lookout is on a fenced, elevated rock platform on the side of the Prince Henry Cliff Walk. There are views of the Jamison Valley, including the Leura Falls Creek and Sublime Point. There is also a great view along the Kings Tableland escarpment to the right.

After another 100 m continue straight, to head along Prince Henry Cliff Walk.
After another 195 m pass a seat (on your right).
The starting point of an optional sidetrip. An optional side trip to Banksia Lookout. To start this optional side trip continue straight here. On returning from this side trip turn right when you get back to this intersection. Details below.
After another 95 m turn left.
After another 20 m come to a car park.

The clearing for the old sewage treatment plant, down in the valley on the Sublime Point Trail, is still visible from this lookout.

Silver Mist Picnic Area
Silver Mist Picnic area is a small park on Cliff Drive (opposite the end of Forester Drive). There is some parking on the dirt strip to the north or closer to the school. The park is lined with nice hedges and has a few open areas.
