Directions	From Grafton Road, Ebor, head east along Point Lookout Road; After 14.9km, come to the trackhead on Point Lookout Road Brinerville.

	Start (from, Brinerville) by heading south-east along Point Lookout Circuit. There is a summit here. Point Lookout a summitissummitat the starta summit (40m on the left). After another 150m you will find the Point Lookout .
	After another 60m, (at the 3-way intersection, with & Point Lookout Circuit) turn sharp left, to follow Point Lookout Circuit. Then almost immediately you will find the Second Lookout (20m ahead).
	The starting point of an optional sidetrip. This side trip takes you to the Point Lookout summit. To start this optional side trip continue straight here. When you have finished this side trip, head back to the main route and bear left to continue. Details below. After another 40m, (at the 3-way intersection, with Point Lookout Circuit & Eagles Nest Track) turn sharp right, to follow the Eagles Nest Track. After another 600m you will find the Eagles Nest Lookout (10m on the left).
	Then (at the 3-way intersection) continue straight, to stay on the Eagles Nest Track.
	After another 350m, (at the 3-way intersection) continue straight, to stay on the Eagles Nest Track. After another 350m you will find the Platypus Valley Lookout (10m on your right).
	Then almost immediately (at the 3-way intersection) bear right, to stay on the Eagles Nest Track.
	After another 60m, (at the 4-way intersection) turn_sr_1-2, to stay on the Eagles Nest Track.
	After another 200m, (at the 3-way intersection) turn left, to stay on the Eagles Nest Track.
	After another 150m, (at the 3-way intersection) bear left, to stay on the Eagles Nest Track. Then almost immediately you will find the Platypus Valley Lookout (10m on your right).
	After another 30m, (at the 3-way intersection) continue straight, to stay on the Eagles Nest Track. After another 350m, pass a toilet (on your right).
	Then (at the intersection, with Eagles Nest Track & ) .
	After another 60m you come to the end, Brinerville. There is a toilet here.

This side trip takes you to the Point Lookout summit.

	To start this sidetrip continue straight (from at the intersection of Eagles Nest Track & Point Lookout Circuit, Brinerville) by heading south-west along Point Lookout Circuit. There is a lookout here. There is the Point Lookout, lookout at the start. After another 80m, pass Point Lookout a summit, a summit (on the left).
	After another 10m this sidetrip ends at Point Lookout, Brinerville. You will also find a summitand a parking area here. Then almost immediately, pass a parking area (40m on the left).

  Other planned events: Notice of ongoing 1080 program
  NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is conducting ongoing aerial and ground baiting programs. Aerial baiting and ground baiting is scheduled from 8th June 2025 to 8th December 2025. The operation will use 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of Wild dogs and Foxes.
  Aerial baiting and ground baiting will occur in:
  Richmond River Area – Captains Creek Nature Reserve (NR), Richmond Range National Park (NP), Bundjalung NP
  Clarence Area - Nymboi-Binderay NP, Nymboida NP, Mount Neville NR, Banyabba NR and State Conservation Area (SCA), Ramornie NP, Bundjalung NP

  Hastings Macleay Area- The Cells SCA, Cottan-Bimbang NP, Carrai NP and SCA, New England NP, Pee Dee NR, The Castles NR, Werrikimbe NP, Willi Willi NP, Mount Seaview NR.
  The program is designed to minimise predator impacts on wildlife, especially threatened species, and to minimise impact of wild dogs on neighbouring stock.
  Signs will be placed at the entry to the baiting location. Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW National Parks managed lands. Pets and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.

  Closed areas: West End Trail - New England NP - Closed.
  West End Trail in New England NP permanently closed due to multiple bridges out.
  
  Closed areas: Closed roads due to Ex-tropical cyclone Alfred in New England National Park
  Closed roads in New England National Park until 31 August due to Ex-tropical cyclone Alfred. Road blocks have been installed on the Horseshoe road to prevent vehicle movements at the Killikrankie Mountain Lookout intersection in the north and at Kilprotay road Intersection to the south. In addition, Kilprotay road has developed a natural road blockage about 3.5 km from the intersection with the Horseshoe road.
  Two significant events have been identified, affecting the roading network in New England National Park:
  
  Horseshoe road – culvert blow out and undermining of road, no through access
  
  Kilprotay road – major landslip (~3.5km from the top intersection with the Horseshoe road), no through access
  
  Gaddes Ridge road - major landslip, no through access
  
  These closures will remain in place until geohazard assessments can be undertaken and works completed. Penalties apply for non-compliance.
