Starting from Bald Rock picnic area this return walk takes you through forests of mountain gum and past granite swellings to the summit of Little Bald Rock for views over New South Wales and Queensland. Let us begin by acknowledging the Jukembal people, Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

At the intersection of Bald Rock Road & Borderlink Fire Trail Start heading along Borderlink Fire Trail (a vehicle track).
There is a shelter (about 135 m back from the start).
There is water tap (about 135 m back from the start).
Pay station (about 125 m back from the start).
There is a toilet (about 110 m back from the start).
There is a sign (about 75 m back from the start).
There is a BBQ (about 65 m back from the start).
There is a toilet (about 50 m back from the start).
Find the gate at the start.
After another 30 m pass the water tap (135 m on your right).
After another 10 m pass the toilet (135 m on your right).
After another 1.1 km (at the intersection of Border Fire Trail & Borderlink Fire Trail) turn left, to head along Border Fire Trail.
After another 1.1 km turn left, to head along Border Fire Trail.
After another 760 m turn left.
After another 205 m come to the "Little Bald Rock".
Continue another 490 m to find the end. Then turn around here and retrace the main route for 3.8 km to get back to the start.
