Getting started
From the carpark off Carters Road, Margaret River, head past the wooden fence towards the informative shelter, then turn right at the 'Chimney Trail' sign and head along the dirt trail. About 20 metres later, keep left at the fork after passing by a white “Gatekeeper Project” sign (to your right). Follow the Chimney Trail ahead, looking out for the Pink Boot trail markers and keeping Bramley Brook to your left, and continue the Old Chimney Trail Loop(clockwise). This is the described direction of travel.....

	Start. There is a car park (about 6 m back from the start).
	After another 30 m (from the Chimney Trail) continue straight. Keep left.
	After another 640 m continue straight. After another 260 m (at the intersection of Wadandi Track & Fluid) continue straight, to head along Wadandi Track.
	After another 90 m (from the Wadandi Track) turn right (a vehicle track). After another 225 m find the "Old Chimney - Wahrncliffe Mill" (40 m on your left). Old Chimney - Wahrncliffe Mill Old Chimney - Wahrncliffe Mill A short detour leads to an old chimney along the trail. The chimney was part of Keenan's No.1 Mill, the first pine sawmill in Margaret River. It was being used till a new mill was constructed nearby in 1697. The round chimney is all that is left from the former mill. It still looks pretty sturdy for its age, although nature is slowly starting to claim it through little saplings growing out of the mortar. + - A short detour leads to an old chimney along the trail. 	After another 115 m (from the Chimney Trail) continue straight, to head along Chimney Trail (a walking track). After another 360 m find the "Wharncliffe Mill Bush Retreat" (45 m on your left). Wharncliffe Mill Bush Retreat Wharncliffe Mill Bush Retreat RAC Margaret River Nature Park is enriched with history, being home to the Wharncliffe Saw Mill that was constructed in 1967. This mill has excellent amenities, yet still has a natural vibe to it due to its surroundings. There is a cafe, kiosk, free Wi-Fi, hot showers, flushing toilets, kitchens and campfire pits present. + - RAC Margaret River Nature Park is enriched with history, being home to the Wharncliffe Saw Mill that was constructed in 1967. This mill has excellent amenities, yet still has a natural vibe to it due to its surroundings. There is a cafe, kiosk, free Wi-Fi, hot showers, flushing toilets, kitchens and campfire pits present. After another 45 m (from the Chimney Trail) continue straight, to head along Chimney Trail.
	After another 60 m (from the Chimney Trail) veer left, to head along Chimney Trail.
	After another 80 m (from the Chimney Trail) continue straight, to head along Chimney Trail.
	After another 100 m (at the intersection of Chimney Trail & Fluid) continue straight, to head along Chimney Trail.
	After another 590 m (from the Chimney Trail) continue straight (a highway\|cycleway). Keep left. After another 100 m (from the Chimney Trail) continue straight, to head along Chimney Trail (a walking track). After another 35 m (from the Chimney Trail) veer left.
	After another 20 m come to the end.
