Safer Bushwalks Tips on staying safe on track
Before you start any bushwalk ensure you;
• Tell someone you trust where you are going and what to do if you are overdue
• Have adequate equipment, supplies, skills & knowledge for the whole journey
• Consider the impact of weather forecasts, park/track closures & fire dangers
• Can respond to emergencies & call for help at any point
• Are healthy and fit enough for this journey
If not, change plans and stay safe. It is okay to delay and ask people for help.

Getting There Transport options and directions

Start	On Saltwater Road (2.1 km South of Pacific Street), Saltwater. (-32.0068351,152.5649074)
Mode	Car
Directions	From Old Bar Road, Old Bar, head south along Saltwater Road; After 2.7km, (take the 2nd exit at the roundabout) to continue straight along Saltwater Road Wallabi Point. After another 2.4km, come to the trackhead on Saltwater Road Saltwater.

	Start (from, Saltwater) by heading west. After another 15m, head around the gate.
	After another 100m, (at the 3-way intersection, with & Five Islands Track) continue straight, to follow the Five Islands Track.
	After another 80m, (at the 3-way intersection) continue straight, to stay on the Five Islands Track. After another 70m, cross the wooden bridge, over the Saltwater Gully.
	After another 950m, (at the 4-way intersection, with Five Islands Track & Five Islands Trail) bear left, to follow the Five Islands Trail.
	Then almost immediately you will be at the turn-around point (to return to the start) at the intersection of Five Islands Track & Five Islands Trail, Saltwater.
