Point Possession Heritage Trail

Starting from Whalers Cove Car Park, Vancouver Peninsula, this walk takes you on a circuit, providing pristine views of Albany and the surrounding area. The walk allows visitors to enjoy the wildflowers scattered along before they reach pristine Brambles Beach. From the Point Possessions, you can enjoy the open views o King George Sound as you walk along the cliff edges. The path is formed, and the walk is mostly flat. During wet weather, take extra care as the granite dome can be slippery. Some bushwalking experience is recommended. Let us begin by acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Directions	From South Coast Highway, 1, Orana. Turn on to Hanrahan Road then drive for 2.4 km Turn right onto Frenchman Bay Road and drive for another 12 km Turn left onto Quaranup Road and drive for another 6 km Turn right onto Fishermans Beach Road and drive for another 105 m

Getting started
From Fishermans Beach/Whaling Cove car park, pass through the bollard and head towards the signpost with the green roof along the dirt path. Pass by the said signpost and through a higher bollard and start heading along the narrow dirt track. Follow the said track as you keep the beach to your right to continue along Point Possession Heritage Trail.....

	After another 1.2 km continue straight, to head along Point Possession Trail.
	After another 90 m continue straight, to head along Point Possession Trail. After another 10 m continue straight, to head along Point Possession Trail.
	The starting point of an alternate route. An alternate route skipping the northernmost part of the track including the Point Possession Monument. To take the alternate route turn right here. Details below. After another 550 m continue straight, to head along Point Possession Trail. After another 930 m continue straight. After another 540 m continue straight. After another 20 m continue straight.
	After another 55 m turn right. After another 30 m continue straight.
	After another 85 m turn left, to head along Point Possession Trail. After another 90 m continue straight, to head along Point Possession Trail.
	Continue another 1.2 km to find at the intersection of Point Possession Trail & Fishermans Beach Road at the end.

An alternate route skipping the northernmost part of the track including the Point Possession Monument.
