Yurrebilla Trail, Centre Track and First Falls Valley Walk

Starting from the car park at the end of Morialta Falls Road, Woodforde, this walk takes you on a circuit around Morialta Conservation Park past Deep View Lookout and Giant's Cave via the Yurrebilla Trail, Centre Track and First Falls Valley Walk. This short loop around the upper section of Morialta Conservation Park begins by crossing the bridge over Fourth Creek and climbing steeply to Deep View Lookout, which provides panoramic views of First Falls and Morialta Gorge, with the Adelaide city skyline in the distance. The walk continues along the Yurrebilla Trail through eucalyptus forest and returns along the Central Track through the gully, then follows the First Falls Valley Walk alongside Fourth Creek, passing an optional side-trip to Giant's Cave. This loop consists of narrow walking trails and gravel tracks, with some short steep hills and uneven natural surfaces, suitable for average fitness levels. Let us begin by acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Turn on to Magill Road then drive for 3.7 km Turn left onto Norton Summit Road and drive for another 480 m Turn left onto Glen Stuart Road and drive for another 1 km At roundabout, take exit 2 onto Morialta Road and drive for another 660 m Turn right onto Morialta Falls Road and drive for another 1.3 km Keep left onto First Falls Valley Walk and drive for another 6 m

Getting started
From the car park at the end of Morialta Falls Road, Woodforde, head past the large information shelter (to your right) beyond the car park, then turn left and cross the bridge over Fourth Creek. After about 50m, turn right and head up the stone steps, passing a 'Deep View Lookout' sign. Follow the trail ahead and continue the Yurrebilla Trail, Centre Track and First Falls Valley Walk (clockwise).....

This toilet is wheelchair accessible. After another 75 m turn left. After another 6 m cross the bridge (about 8 m long)
	After another 55 m turn sharp right.
	After another 330 m turn right.
	After another 360 m come to the "Deep View Lookout" (15 m on your right). Veer left, to head along Yurrebilla Trail. After another 490 m continue straight, to head along Yurrebilla Trail.
	After another 660 m (at the intersection of Centre Track & Yurrebilla Trail) turn sharp right, to head along Centre Track (a vehicle track). After another 390 m continue straight, to head along Centre Track. After another 75 m continue straight, to head along Centre Track. After another 120 m (at the intersection of First Falls Valley Walk & Centre Track) turn right, to head along First Falls Valley Walk.
	After another 60 m turn left. After another 7 m cross the bridge (about 10 m long) After another 8 m continue straight. After another 30 m continue straight, to head along First Falls Valley Walk.
	The starting point of an optional sidetrip. An optional side trip to Giant's Cave, following a steep flight of steps with a handrail to a magnificent cave perched in the cliffs. To start this optional side trip turn left here. On returning from this side trip continue straight when you get back to this intersection. Details below. After another 25 m turn right. After another 10 m cross the bridge (about 7 m long) After another 25 m continue straight, to head along First Falls Valley Walk.
	After another 40 m veer left. After another 15 m cross the bridge (about 15 m long) After another 25 m continue straight, to head along First Falls Valley Walk. After another 55 m continue straight, to head along First Falls Valley Walk. After another 6 m cross the bridge (about 15 m long)
	After another 30 m continue straight. After another 15 m cross the bridge (about 8 m long) After another 20 m continue straight, to head along First Falls Valley Walk. After another 50 m continue straight, to head along First Falls Valley Walk.
	Continue another 40 m to find at the intersection of Morialta Falls Road & First Falls Valley Walk at the end.
