Mount Clear Traverse circuit

Starting from the trailhead at the end of Clear Creek Track just on the verge of Alpine NP in Victoria, this circuit walk follows the Nobs Track (past the first campsite), part of Australian Alps Walking Track to The Nobs, High Cone and past Square Top to the top of Mount Clear, then descends along Mount Clear Spur Road (past the second campsite) back to the trailhead. A larger part of the walk is in the Alpine NP in stunning scenery. Let us begin by acknowledging the Taungurung and Gunaikurnai people, Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

	At the intersection of Nobs Track & Mount Clear Spur Road Start heading along Nobs Track (a vehicle track). After 2.1 km come to the camp site (20 m on your left). After another 35 m pass the helipad (20 m on your left).
	After another 450 m (at the intersection of Australian Alps Walking Track & Nobs Track) turn sharp left, to head along Australian Alps Walking Track (a walking track). After another 700 m pass the "The Nobs". After another 2.6 km (from the Australian Alps Walking Track) turn right. After another 470 m pass the "High Cone" (on your left).
	From the Grimme Creek Track turn sharp left. After another 590 m (from the Australian Alps Walking Track) continue straight, to head along Australian Alps Walking Track. After another 1 km (from the Australian Alps Walking Track) continue straight, to head along Australian Alps Walking Track. After another 2.2 km (from the Australian Alps Walking Track) continue straight, to head along Australian Alps Walking Track. After another 1.3 km pass the "Mount Clear" (on your left).
	After another 1.7 km (at the intersection of Mount Clear Spur Road & Mount Clear Track) turn left, to head along Mount Clear Spur Road (a vehicle track). After another 1.6 km come to the camp site (60 m on your left). After another 7.5 km cross the ford.
	At the intersection of Mount Clear Spur Road & Clear Creek continue straight, to head along Mount Clear Spur Road. After another 200 m come to a gate.
	Continue another 0 m to find at the intersection of Mount Clear Spur Road & Clear Creek Track at the end.
