	From the McKays Track turn sharp right, to head along McKays Track (a walking track). After another 8.3 km cross the ford.
	At the intersection of McKays Track & Junction Creek continue straight, to head along McKays Track.
	After another 510 m (from the McKays Track) continue straight, to head along McKays Track. Then pass the toilet (7 m on your left). After another 30 m come to the "Junction Creek Campsite" (7 m on your right).
	After another 6 m (at the intersection of Old Port Davey Track & Arthur Plains) turn right, to head along Old Port Davey Track.
	After another 2.6 km (at the intersection of Moraine A Track & Old Port Davey Track) continue straight, to head along Moraine A Track. After another 3.5 km pass the "Mount Hesperus" (75 m on your left).
	After another 1.1 km (at the intersection of Western Arthurs Traverse & Lake Cygnus Track) turn left, to head along Western Arthurs Traverse.
	The starting point of an optional sidetrip. Side trip to Lake Oberon Campsite and the stunning lake itself. To start this optional side trip continue straight here. On returning from this side trip turn right when you get back to this intersection. Details below. After another 4.2 km (at the intersection of Western Arthurs Traverse & Lake Oberon Campsite Track) turn left, to head along Western Arthurs Traverse. After another 710 m pass the "Mount Pegasus" (10 m on your left). After another 1.3 km pass the "Mount Capricorn" (15 m on your left). After another 1.9 km come to the "High Moor Campsite" (20 m on your left). There is enough space for 4 tents. Open fires are not allowed.
	The starting point of an optional sidetrip. Side trip to High Moore Campsite. To start this optional side trip turn left here. On returning from this side trip turn sharp left when you get back to this intersection. Details below. At the intersection of Western Arthurs Traverse & High Moor Campsite Track veer right, to head along Western Arthurs Traverse. After another 40 m pass the toilet (10 m on your right). After another 3.2 km pass the "Mount Taurus" (15 m on your left). After another 770 m come to the "Haven Lake Campsite" (on your left). After another 15 m pass the toilet (20 m on your left). After another 2 km pass the "Mount Scorpio" (35 m on your right).
	After another 500 m (from the Western Arthurs Traverse) continue straight, to head along Western Arthurs Traverse.
	After another 5.2 km (at the intersection of Arthur Plains & Moraine K Track) veer left, to head along Arthur Plains. After another 25 m come to the "Seven Mile Creek Campsite" (on your right). After another 4.7 km cross the ford.
	From the Arthur Plains continue straight, to head along Arthur Plains. After another 1.2 km cross the ford.
	At the intersection of Arthur Plains & Wullyawa Creek continue straight, to head along Arthur Plains. After another 2.2 km cross the ford.
	At the intersection of Arthur Plains & Two Mile Creek continue straight, to head along Arthur Plains.
	After another 3.1 km (at the intersection of McKays Track & Arthur Plains) continue straight, to head along McKays Track.
	After another 35 m (from the McKays Track) continue straight, to head along McKays Track.
	After another 510 m (at the intersection of McKays Track & Junction Creek) continue straight, to head along McKays Track.
	After another 8.2 km (from the McKays Track) turn sharp left (a vehicle track).
	After another 30 m turn sharp right.
	After another 65 m continue straight.
	After another 290 m continue straight.
	After another 35 m come to the end.

	At the intersection of Lake Oberon Campsite Track & Western Arthurs Traverse Start heading along Lake Oberon Campsite Track (a walking track). After 270 m pass the toilet (15 m on your left). After another 60 m come to "Lake Oberon Campsite".
	Continue another 0 m to find Lake Oberon Campsite at the end. Turn around and retrace your steps back the 325 m to the main route.

Side trip to High Moore Campsite.

	At the intersection of High Moor Campsite Track & Western Arthurs Traverse Start heading along High Moor Campsite Track (a walking track). There is a toilet (about 35 m back from the start). After 65 m come to the "High Moor Campsite" (on your left).
	At the intersection of High Moor Campsite Track & High Moor Campsite turn sharp right, to head along High Moor Campsite Track.
	Continue another 15 m to find from the High Moor Campsite Track at the end. Turn around and retrace your steps back the 45 m to the main route.
