Getting started
From Marine Parade (just south of the bridge over Elster Creek), head towards the white gate with a "Keep Clear Emergency Vehicle Access" sign on it. Turn right and then left to head along the paved walking track marked by a sign on the pavement. Head towards the ocean as you follow the said track, then keep left as you pass by the bridges (to your right). Stay on the same track as it veers left and keep the ocean to your right to continue along Bay Trail (Elwood-Brighton).....

	After another 105 m turn right. After another 95 m continue straight. After another 250 m come to "Sandy Beach HQ & Kiosk". About 45 m past the end is a toilet.
	Turn around here and retrace the main route for 8.5 km to get back to the start.
